What are the PL Series Side Locks?
The PL Series Side Locks DGMF-MOLD-CLAMPS-SL-PL model is a standard high-precision parting line positioning side lock tapered block set supplied by DGMF Mold Clamps Co., Ltd. These side lock components are used to correctly align a mold’s upper and lower portions.
Side locks consist of a male side lock and a female side lock. The alignment locks provide positive and precise alignment between mold halves.
Side locks are suitable for molds with thin templates to locate the core before it is embedded in the cavity, preventing wear and tear of the core and damage to the template, while processing the locating grooves to ensure its accurate positioning.
Because of the very narrow clearance, it is recommended to use a precision-grade guide pin.
Note: Please keep about 1MM when using.
Please keep the end face about 1MM when using, to prevent the pin and sleeve from being damaged when closing the mold. To prevent collision between the pin and the end face of the sleeve when closing the mold, resulting in damage.
