What are the Positioning Components?

The positioning components are the alignment locks for injection molding precision positioning.

1. Types of precision positioning components

There are many types of precision positioning for injection molds, and the commonly used ones are side locks, tapered precision positioning parts, and oblique square positioning parts.

2. Selection of placement position for precision positioning

When closing the mold, it is easy to burn the side, so placing it in the middle position can effectively prevent this problem.

When there are sliders, hanging mold holes, or other structures in the middle position that interfere with the side lock position, the side lock can be moved and placed diagonally on the side lock.

When there are sliders on all four sides of the mold base and there is no place to place the side lock, you can choose a tapered precision positioning part or an oblique square positioning component.
